Love is a Bridge

Love is a Bridge.  This is one of my small 6x6 acrylic canvasses.  

Today in my studio I am creating a new journal and working on some 10x10 paintings for my March show.  One good thing about acrylic paintings is that you can gesso over things that you don't like.  I put the final touches on a painting yesterday and hated it.  So I am trying to save 3/4 of it and gessoed over the part that I did not like.  Crazy,

Still working on all my small collage canvases.  Today getting ready to move into our newly renovated gallery.  And painting two of my larger canvasses for my March show.

Painting New Canvasses

I took a class in California recently at the International Calligraphy Conference and took a painting class from Jane Dill.  The class was amazing.  These are the canvasses I have painted since I got back from the conference.  So fun!

Friends Who Pray

Last year someone gave me a gift of a wonderful book called "To Bless the Space Between Us" by John O'Donahue.  It is a series of blessings but a lot of the words in between the chapters of blessings are wonderful too.  This one is my favorite and I created this yesterday for my Spiritual Writing Group.  I hope you enjoy it and appreciate all the people who pray for you on a daily basis.  Love from me!

New Sympathy Card

I saw a sympathy card recently that I liked and I recreated the words in calligraphy.  The one I saw said that "your heart would heal" but I am not sure it ever completely does.  I designed the background in photoshop using some brushes in different colors, then added the paper flower and three jewels.  

Falling In Love

This is a special order I created this week for a customer.  He was happy.
