Scripture Verse

This is a drawing and lettering I did for a new greeting card.  These little flowers are called Agapanthus.  Actually I had never heard of them before but I love the color so thought I would try painting them.  The Scripture verse is from Philippians 1:3-4 but the translation is from the New Jerusalem Bible.  I love the translation of this particular verse with the joy.  Have a great day!

    Lovely agapanthus - they are very popular in Europe....we visited the Island of Madeira (off African coast) and they grow along the wayside over there, just like weeds, whereas in the U.K. you will only find them in sheltered gardens. Love the two pieces with the verses.
