I know, this is little picture is not very creative, right!

Did you ever have one of those weeks or two weeks? Well, that's me right now, right in the middle of the second week of misery and pain. I realize that there are many worse tragedies than lonely! I know people are busy, its the Christmas season, right? I get that. So I am trying to be creative, making art, working on our Christmas cards, trying to stay lifted up and grateful.

So grateful for my husband and my health!

Missing my grandchildren, missing my friends in Spokane, missing dinners together, coffee, talking, people! A little bit quiet here in Hawaii. Just plain blue!

  1. I am so sorry; it's not fun to be blue......maybe you can write them notes with some of your beautiful work and words on it.....I have found when I am missing someone if I do something for them it makes me feel closer.....

    Big hugs to you.....

  2. New follower loves your header...I tend to be blue during the winter, so I can appriecate the word blue. The color is one of my favorites not the mood so much. Hope you will stop by www.artnsoulbydeborah.com
and say Hi! Many Blessings Deborah

  3. Hold your husband close and be thankful he is there. I lost mine in March and the holidays this year are "blue" for me. God bless you and Merry Christmas.

  4. I'm sorry you've been blue Jan! (((big hugs))) I hope this feeling doesn't last long.
Extending my sympathy to JeanneG; the holidays can be an especially bittersweet time for those that are hurting and mourning the loss of a loved one.

  5. Sending out my sympathy as well to JeanneG. So sorry for your loss.
