Miracle

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a house concert. Before the concert began, my hostess told Cary, the singer/songwriter, "This is Jan, she can always be counted on to cry at just the right moments." I was enjoying the concert a lot when Cary began to sing a song she wrote about her daughter called "Miracle." It was so touching and it reminded me so much of my daughter. I was crying my eyes out before the song was over! I asked Cary if I could letter the song for her and also one for me daughter. She graciously said, "yes!" So here it is . . . .

  1. Wow Jan. This is gorgeous, both the words and the piece. I pray that you and your family will be safe in this hurricane. Linda

  2. hi jan! you've lettered this beautifully! i know your new friend cary wll definitely agree!!

i'm so sorry that your show ended up in disappointment. i once did a show where i had many of my hand-made journals out......and the humidity here in florida just about destroyed them! talk about lessons learned! it sounds like you've received some great advice here with maybe seeking out some indoor shows.....and hopefully there's some commission work in your near future!
