My Art Career

This is the third in a series of small books.  I must be feeling nostalgic lately because I came across this  little book I made at a Calligraphy Conference with Lisa Englebrecht.  She is a wonderful calligrapher and canvas artist.  This is a small picture of my career as an artist.

Graphic 45 Birdsong Book

I recently made a little book with my friend Maude.  The book was made using 6 black paper bags from the Celebrate It Collection found at Michaels.  I made a little video of the book showing each page.  I loved making this book and adding the many, many layers.  Mostly I loved spending two days with my friend, Maude.  I am having trouble posting the video so have no idea if this will work or not.  I will post it and see.  It is a silent video.  (:   

Even though I have not been posting much lately, I have been so busy in the studio.  I made one hundred sets of "Think Good Thoughts" and for the last month I have been working on an illustrated book for a customer.  A love story of her 50 years of marriage.  So sweet.  I did this prayer today for another customer.  Have a great day!
